Omniyat is the privately held Dubai developer founded in 2005 with a portfolio focused on the upper-tier of the luxury residential market. The Opus in Business Bay, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, is the company's most recognised commercial address and one of the last completed projects from the practice during the architect's lifetime.
On the residential side, the firm's focus is the Palm Jumeirah. One at Palm Jumeirah delivered a relatively small set of ultra-luxury apartments on the trunk of the palm. ORLA on the western tip is branded with the Dorchester Collection and is currently under construction, with AVA following on the same crescent.
Omniyat's working model is to take a smaller number of buildings at any one time and concentrate spend on architecture, common-area finish and the operator partnership. The collaboration with Dorchester Collection is the most consequential of these, lending hospitality-grade service standards to the residential offer.
