JRE ("we", "us") is a family-owned Dubai real-estate firm. This policy explains what personal data we collect through jre.ae, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

We serve private clients across the UAE and from international markets including the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. This policy is written to comply with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020, the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulations, and the California Consumer Privacy Act.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us, enquire about a property, or request a brochure, we collect the information you provide: your name, email, phone number, country of residence, the property you are interested in, and any message you send us. We only collect information you voluntarily supply.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site we collect limited technical data automatically, including your IP address (truncated where possible), device and browser type, the pages you view, referral source, and the approximate city or country inferred from your IP. This helps us operate the site, monitor performance, and detect abuse.

Analytics and Google Signals

We use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 sets cookies that assign a random identifier to your browser. We have enabled Google Signals, which, for visitors who are signed in to their Google account and have Ads Personalisation turned on, allows GA4 to:

link sessions across the devices a single person uses,
report on broad demographic and interest categories (age band, gender and interest topics as inferred by Google), and
enable remarketing audiences that we may later use in advertising platforms including Google Ads.

Google Signals data reaches us only in aggregate form. We do not receive your name, email, or precise location through GA4. Google processes this data as an independent controller under its own terms; see Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Ads Settings page for controls.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, including:

Strictly necessary cookies that keep the site functional.
Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4 (including_ga and _ga_*) which remain on your device for up to two years.
Advertising cookies enabled through Google Signals, used for cross-device measurement and remarketing.

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics specifically via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How we use your data

To respond to your enquiries and arrange viewings or information packs.
To manage active client relationships across acquisition, handover, tenancy, maintenance, concierge, and resale services.
To comply with Know-Your-Customer, Anti-Money-Laundering and Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) requirements where applicable to a transaction.
To improve our website, measure marketing performance and prevent fraud.
With your consent, to send occasional market updates and new-launch briefings. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Legal basis

For users in the UK and EEA, we rely on:

Consent for analytics with Google Signals, advertising cookies, and marketing emails.
Legitimate interest for responding to enquiries, securing the site and preventing fraud.
Legal obligation for KYC, AML and RERA record-keeping requirements.
Performance of a contract when you engage JRE as a client.

We share personal data only with:

Our Dubai team on a need-to-know basis.
Service providers that help us run the business, including Google (Analytics and Ads), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (security and CDN), email providers, CRM, document-signing and payment processors.
Developers and regulators when a transaction requires it, including the Dubai Land Department and RERA.
Professional advisors: lawyers, accountants and auditors where strictly necessary.

We never sell personal data.

International transfers

Because we operate across the UAE, the UK and the US, your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or a recognised adequacy decision.

Retention

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after your last interaction. Client-relationship records are retained for the duration of the relationship plus seven years to meet AML and tax obligations. Analytics data is retained for 14 months in GA4.

Your rights

Subject to the laws that apply to you, you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you,
have it corrected or erased,
restrict or object to our processing of it,
withdraw consent for marketing or Google Signals-based advertising,
receive a portable copy, and
lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents have the additional rights to know, delete, correct and limit the use of sensitive personal information under the CCPA.

Children

The site is intended for adults evaluating a property purchase or rental. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Security

We maintain organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold, including access control, encryption in transit, audit logging and staff training. No system is infallible; if we detect a breach affecting your data we will notify you and the relevant authority in line with applicable law.
