Baystar by Vida is a two-building residential development by Emaar, positioned along the waterfront at Mina Rashid's Rashid Yachts and Marina precinct. Service charges run at AED 23 to 24 per sq ft annually, which is on the higher end for Dubai but consistent with branded and marina-facing developments where communal maintenance is more intensive.

City Centre Al Shindagha is 3.9 kilometres away, providing the nearest retail anchor. Downtown Dubai sits approximately 10.6 kilometres from the site, a comparable distance to Dubai Creek Park. Dubai International Airport is 11.4 kilometres out, making this one of the more airport-proximate waterfront addresses in the city, a detail that tends to matter to frequent travellers and short-hold investors alike.

Little Diamond Nursery at Al Mankhool is 6.6 kilometres away, the closest listed educational facility. Families requiring a fuller school infrastructure will need to look further afield, which is a fair consideration given the boutique residential scale of this particular project.
