Atelis is a residential tower by Meraas, designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), rising within Dubai Design District (d3) with a scheduled completion date of July 2029. The building comprises four residences and sits at readiness progress of approximately two per cent at time of writing, with current availability sold out.

SOM's design takes its formal cues from organic geometry: the balconies follow a petal-like contour that gives the building a curved, sculptural profile rather than the flat-faced envelope common across Dubai's mid-rise stock. The result is a silhouette that reads differently depending on the viewer's angle, which suits a district that has positioned itself around architectural and creative identity since its launch.

D3 sits between the Creek and Business Bay, roughly 4.9 kilometres from Downtown Dubai. It was conceived as a mixed-use address for design, fashion, art and technology businesses, and its built fabric reflects that brief: wide pedestrianised walkways, curated public art, cycling paths, and a low-rise grain that keeps the streetscape legible. Atelis lands within this grain as one of the district's more architecturally considered residential addresses.

Dubai International Airport is 15.6 kilometres from the site, which for frequent travellers puts it within 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

Downtown Dubai, including the DIFC perimeter, is under five kilometres. The area's proximity to both DIFC and the Old Town makes it a credible address for finance professionals who prefer a neighbourhood with a distinct character over the more corporate texture of Business Bay.
